Portrait of Alexia Marchand

Alexia Marchand

I’m a French psychologist with an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Leiden University. My approach combines evidence-based psychological therapy with a genuine interest in understanding each individual’s experiences in the context of their life, relationships, and personal history.

In therapy, I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, without judgement or pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we explore what is happening, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards meaningful change. I see therapy as a collaborative process, tailored to each person’s needs.

Having moved between countries, changed careers, and become a parent myself, I understand that major life transitions can bring unexpected challenges, even when they are also wanted. I have a particular interest in the emotional challenges surrounding fertility, pregnancy, and early parenthood. I am currently undertaking advanced training in perinatal mental health to deepen my expertise in this area.

I offer therapy in English and French, and I welcome the opportunity to work with people from different cultural backgrounds and walks of life.
